GUIDE

Restore your Quantus accounts

If you have a 24-word Quantus seed, from Qkeep or another Quantus wallet, Qkeep can find all of its accounts and add them in one step.

Open web walletAdd to Chrome

Restore from your seed

  1. Open the web wallet or the extension and choose Import wallet.
  2. Enter your 24 words, and the passphrase if you used one.
  3. Qkeep searches both signature schemes, ML-DSA-65 and ML-DSA-87, and lists every account that exists on the network. The search stops after 20 unused accounts in a row in each scheme.
  4. Choose Import, set a password for this device, and all accounts are added.

If an account is missing

Choose Choose address manually to pick the signature scheme and account number yourself, for example for an account that has never received QTC. You can also add more accounts later from the account list.

Several seeds in one wallet

Qkeep can hold accounts from several seeds. Add another seed from the account list and its accounts are found the same way. Back up each seed separately: one seed does not restore another.

Imported private keys

Accounts imported from a private key are not covered by any seed. Keep a separate backup of each imported key.

Stay safe

Type your seed only into the Qkeep import screen. Nobody from lux8.net or Quantus will ever ask for it.

Questions

Can I use a 12-word seed?

Standard Quantus accounts use 24-word seeds, and that is what Qkeep restores.

Does restoring move my funds?

No. Your QTC stays on the blockchain. Restoring only gives this device the keys to the accounts.
